Anne Poschmann, the new chair of the Association of Consulting Engineering Companies | Canada, spoke to the Journal of Commerce at the organization's recent conference held in Winnipeg, Man. about an emerging issue with municipalities allegedly denying firms the ability to bid on projects.

Anne Poschmann, the new chair of the Association of Consulting Engineering Companies | Canada, spoke to the Journal of Commerce at the organization's recent conference held in Winnipeg, Man. about an emerging issue with municipalities allegedly denying firms the ability to bid on projects.

Poschmann detailed how the dispute began in Prince Edward Island with a member firm alerting the PEI chapter of ACEC after being told by a municipality that they were not allowed to bid.

Poschmann also explained what the ACEC is currently doing to address the situation and what future plans the organization is considering to continue dealing with the issue.
