Ventana Construction is six months into a contract to build the new $22.8 million, six-storey John Paul II Pastoral Centre on Willow Street in Vancouver, B.C.

The 70,000 sq. ft. building is being constructed for the Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Vancouver. It will have four floors of office space and two floors of residences for retired clergy.

John Clark Architect Inc. did the design. Consultants include Applied Engineering Solutions, GHL Consultants Ltd., GeoPacific Consultants Ltd. and Glotman Simpson Consulting Engineers.

The project is aiming for LEED Gold certification.
