Alberta Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) is investigating after a man was crushed and killed while delivering building materials to a hardware store in southern Alberta.

“A 65-year-old man was unloading a pallet of doors from a flatbed truck. When the pallet cleared the trailer, the pallet flipped and he became pinned against the truck,” said Brookes Merritt, spokesperson with Alberta O&HS.

The incident happened on April 2 at the Home Hardware in Taber and the man was employed by RSC Cartage Ltd.
