Parkside Victoria Resort and Spa
BRADLEY FEHR
Two construction workers focus on rebar during the construction of the Parkside Victoria Resort and Spa on Humboldt Street in downtown Victoria. The development will include two eight-storey towers.
Farmer Construction is the construction manager and the Hulbert Group is the architect.
The resort is expected to be completed by early 2009. A number of consulting engineers are involved in the project, including Read Jones Christoffersen (structural) and Stantec (mechanical). The Aviawest Group and Pearson family is the developer. The resort hotel is being built to meet LEED platinum standards.
