BCIT offers new degree in electrical engineering

BCIT announced it will offer a new bachelor of engineering degree in electrical engineering.

Electrical engineers are employed in design, research and testing of electrical and electronic equipment and systems.

BC Work Futures projects a higher than average employment growth of 2.4 per cent over the next three years in areas such as electrical utilities, communications companies and manufacturers of electrical and computer equipment.

The new degree program starts in September 2008.
