Excavator operator strikes gas line at Vancouver job site
Construction workers were temporarily evacuated at the site of the Stella condominium development when an excavator operator accidentally struck a gas line.
Terasen crews shut off the gas and then tested the air before giving the green light for the workers to return to their jobs.
No injuries were reported and neighbouring homes and businesses were not evacuated.
