Nahanni Construction prepares to build new facility for Alzheimer’s patients

The government of the Northwest Territories has partnered with Diavik Mines to construct a new dementia facility for patients suffering from Alzheimer’s disease and other related illnesses.

The $15-million, 26,000-square-foot facility was designed by Stantec Consulting.

Nahanni Construction will start the project in early fall 2008. Completion is scheduled for late 2009.
