Terasen ready to select project manager for Lions Gate biogas energy facility
Teresen Gas has partnered with QuestAir Technologies and Metro Vancouver to develop British Columbia’s first biogas alternative energy project.
In doing so, they will introduce the delivery of biomethane through Teresen’s natural gas distribution system at the Lions Gate Wastewater Treatment Plant.
The biomethane project is expected to provide energy for 100 homes and reduce greenhouse gases emissions by 500 tones per year. .dA project manager will be announced in mid-August 2008 and the $1.1 million project is scheduled to be operational by July 2009
