Project progress

Construction continues on Vancity Credit Union project in Burnaby, British Columbia

A worker measures and cuts some lumber at the Vancity Credit Union mixed-use project, which is under construction in Burnaby. The five-storey project will combine a bank with condominium apartments and be built to a LEED Silver standard.

The construction manager on the project is Progressive Builders Ltd. and the architect Walter Francl Architect Inc.

Consultants on the project include: Bevan-Pritchard Man Associates Ltd. (structural) and Perez Engineering Ltd. (mechanical). Construction began in June 2009 and is scheduled for completion in October 2010.
