Union Gospel Mission Foundation building new social housing project in Vancouver
BRADLEY FEHR
A construction worker is busy helping build a new social housing project for the Union Gospel Mission Foundation. It will include six storeys above grade and two below. The project includes an emergency shelter and a drop-in centre.
Palcor Construction Management Ltd. is the construction manager on the project.
The architect is Orbis Architecture Inc.
Consulting engineers on the project include Krahn Engineering Ltd. (structural), Stantec Consulting Ltd. (mechanical) and Jarvis Engineering Ltd. (electrical).
It is scheduled to be opened in Winter 2011.
