CEI Architecture to merge with Bevanda Architecture
CEI Architecture Planning Interiors said Tuesday it has signed an agreement to merge with Penticton, B.C.-based Bevanda Architecture.
“The merger will bolster the ability of CEI to deliver projects of any size and scope to clients across a variety of sectors, including retail, industrial, office, educational, residential, recreational, transportation and health care,” CEI said in a news release.
“Our firm had been looking for ways to strengthen its ability to compete in the Okanagan while continuing to deliver innovative designs,” CEI partner Tim McLennan said in the release.
Bevanda staff will become part of CEI’s Kelowna office. There will be no layoffs or duplication of functions as a result of the merger, CEI said.
The combined firm will have over 100 professional staff in master planning, architecture and interior design.
CEI has offices in Vancouver, Victoria, Kelowna and Los Angeles.
Bevanda Architecture Inc. was formed in 2003 by Nick Bevanda. The 11-person firm specializes in the design of residential, commercial, cultural and educational facilities.
