VIDEO: Buildex Vancouver 2012 at the Vancouver Convention Centre

Buildex Vancouver brings together the construction, design and real estate industries on an annual basis into a giant, two day show at the Vancouver Convention Centre.

Paul Maryschak is the director of Buildex Vancouver and in a recent interview with the Journal of Commerce he emphasized the importance of face to face contact, a raidly shrinking commodity in an increasingly hyperconnected but virtual work world.

Shows like Buildex, he said, give those construction industry the ability to connect on a one-to-one basis, as well as to attend informational seminars and roam the show floor to see the latest products on offer.

Maryschak also highlighted construction-specific events such as the ICBA CEO Breakfast and the annual Construction Roundtable hosted by the VRCA as two valuable events formembers of the industry to attend.
