The span of the 10-lane Port Mann Bridge connecting Surrey and Coquitlam, B.C. has been completed.
the $3.3 billion project began in 2008,and will be the largest cable-stay in North America with a 850-metre span.
The first eight lanes will open early next year and the old Port Mann Bridge will be dismantled, adding two additional lanes to the bridge by 2014.
