Vancouver man killed after being buried by gravel at Lafarge plant
WorkSafeBC has confirmed that a man in his 40s was killed on July 10th at a work site accident at the Lafarge plant on Kent Avenue in South Vancouver.
According to a report from Vancouver radio station News1130, the man was buried in a pile of gravel and may have subsequently died of crushing injuries.
According to a statement issued by Lafarge, the fatality involved a subcontractor's employee.
