Landslide Tragedy

Crews use heavy equipment to sift through debris at the site of the Johnsons Landing mudslide.
Six days after a massive landslide engulfed three homes in the Kootenay Lake hamlet of Johnsons Landing, crews will be back at the site today, searching for two women still missing.
Heavy equipment is now being used to burrow through debris and concrete-hard mud up to 10 metres deep. Teams are looking for a 64-year-old German tourist and they are also checking around the foundations of the Webber family home, where the bodies of Valentine Webber and one of his daughters were found earlier this week.
A second daughter remains missing.
