VIDEO: VRCA 2012 Silver Award winners
The Vancouver Regional Construction Association has announced the 2012 Silver Award of Excellence winners.
Amongst the projects to garner multiple awards were the IKEA Richmond relocation, and the VanDusen Botanical Garden Visitor Centre. Scott Construction distinguished itself with two Heritage Restoration awards for the Honour House and the Hotel Georgia, and PCL Constructors won big with awards for the BC Cancer Agency Centre for the North, the revitalization of BC Place and for the BC Hydro River Generating Station Townsite Redevelopment.
One Gold award was given to Panther Constructors for their work on the BC Place Soccer Screens. The rest of the Gold awards will be announced at a gala event on October 17th, 2012.
