New CEO appointed at Churchill Corp.

The Churchill Corp. announced that Douglas J. Haughey is its new chief executive officer.

Calgary-based Churchill operates general contractor Stuart Olson Dominion Construction Ltd., plus subsidiaries including Canem Systems, Laird Electric Inc., Insulation Holdings Inc. and Broda Construction Inc.

Last month, Churchill appointed David LeMay as president and acting CEO, replacing James Houck. LeMay retains the title of president and is now the firm’s chief operating officer.

Haughey was president and CEO of natural gas firm Provident Energy Ltd.

He has also been president of the western Canadian natural gas processing and pipeline business of Spectra Energy Corp. of Houston.
