Prince George contractor gets bridge contract

The Government of British Columbia has awarded a $3.7 million contract to Forbes Industrial Contractors Ltd. of Prince George to rehabilitate the Hagwilget Bridge near New Hazelton, British Columbia.

The historic single-lane suspension bridge is located on the Hazelton High Level Road about two kilometres north of Highway 16 at New Hazelton.

Work on the bridge is expected to wrap up by mid-December.
