Northwest Community College receives funding

Northwest Community College campuses will receive upgrades after the government of British Columbia allocated $1.2 million in capital funding to address routine maintenance and safety of infrastructure and systems at the Terrace, Houston, Hazelton, Prince Rupert and Kitimat campuses.

The Terrace trades facility will also renew its air compressor.

Over $839,000 in one-time funding will also be used to offer short-term trades-related training in the region.

The upgrades are intended to be complete before the fall session begins.
