Capital funding for SFU

The Government of British Columbia will put $1.7 million of capital funding into improvement and upgrading of facilities at Simon Fraser University (SFU) in Burnaby, B.C.

The upgrade work is meant to ensure infrastructure and operational systems are functioning at optimal levels in buildings at the main campus in Burnaby.

More than $275 million in capital investments have been made at SFU since 2001, including recent extensive renovations to the Shrum Science building and Podium 2 at the Surrey campus.
