British Columbia premier Christy Clark was the keynote speaker at the Independent Contractors and Businesses Association annual general meeting, held October 9th 2012 in Burnaby, British Columbia.
After her speech, the Honourable Christy Clark spoke with the Journal of Commerce about a variety of topics, including the planned Enbridge pipeline, the transition back to a provincial sales tax, the Liberal strategy for the upcoming election, plans for the Massey Tunnel, and more.
Economist Jock Finlayson also took time to speak with the Journal of Commerce about construction’s role in the B.C. economy, the leading growth industries in B.C., and possible internal and external risks that could derail one of Canada’s most economically robust provinces.
