Workers with Matcon Excavating & Shoring are busy with site work for the massive Marine Gateway mixed-use project in Vancouver, BC.
Ledcor Construction Ltd. is the general contractor and Perkins + Will Canada is the architect on the project, which includes three highrise structures reaching 38, 29 and 14 storeys high, as well as a podium.
It will include residential, office and commercial space. The consultants are Glotman Simpson Consulting Engineers (structural), MCW Consultants Ltd. (mechanical), Nemetz (S/A) & Associates Ltd. (electrical), MMM Group Limited (traffic), Brown Strachan Associates (acoustic), GeoPacific Consultants Ltd. (geotechnical) and CFT Engineering Inc. (code).
The project is aiming for LEED Gold certification.
