VIDEO: Wood Solutions Fair in Vancouver

With the introduction by the British Columbia government a few years ago of the Wood First Act, interest in wood based construction and design has soared, and the Wood Solutions Fair has grown in response to a swell of new wood-based projects.

Mary Tracey, the executive director of Wood WORKS! BC was on hand at the fair to talk to the Journal of Commerce about the many wood projects underway both in BC and across the country, as well as the scope of the fair itself.

Tracey also addressed the rising popularity of wood as a solution in innovative projects, including multi-level buildings and other larger-scale projects.
