VIDEO: Construction Foundation of British Columbia helps out Honour House
The newly formed Construction Foundation of British Columbia has donated $65,000 to Honour House, a facility for first responders and veterans seeking medical treatment in New Westminster, B.C.
Abigail Fulton, the vice president of the British Columbia Construction Association, talked to the Journal of Commerce about the new foundation and its commitment both to worthy projects and to apprenticeship training.
Keith Sashaw, president of the Vancouver Regional Construction Association, illuminated the many challenges of building Honour House, from the new elevator (the main focus for the $65,000 donation from the BCCA) to renovating a heritage building into a care facility.
