VIDEO: BUILDEX preview with show director Paul Maryschak
Buildex Vancouver is the biggest building conference of the year in the Lower Mainland, bringing together the construction, architecture, property management and interior design industries under one roof at the Vancouver Convention Centre.
BUILDEX director Paul Maryschak gave the Journal of Commerce a sneak peek at this year’s conference, and highlighted events like Architecture Day and a new series of live demonstrations on the trade show floor.
Maryschak also pointed to returning events such as the VRCA-led Construction Forum, where a series of industry veterans will lend their expertise and offer up their opinions on where the industry is going in the coming year.
The largest infrastructure project ever undertaken by the Panamanian government, the $5.2 billion Panama Canal Expansion is challenging due to its sheer size.
"Unlocking Canada's Potential" will be the theme of this year's 96th annual Canadian Conference Association (CCA), where delegates are encouraged to look for opportunities beyond their borders.
The Vancouver Regional Construction Association presented "The Young Guns: Gen Y and their role in the future of construction" as the keynote construction panel at Buildex Vancouver on Feb. 19.
