Knocking it Down

JESSICA PATTERSON

The Southam Tower, built in 1912, is being demolished to make way for what could be Calgary Alberta's tallest tower.

The proposed 226 Sixth development could include a 57-storey building as well as a 42-storey tower, with the two structures joined by a three-storey glass pavilion.

The office tower project is aiming for LEED Gold certification. For more about Site Services, check out the feature inside this issue.
