QUEEN ELIZABETH DIAMOND JUBILEE MEDAL
The Winnipeg construction Association (WCA) distributed three Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee medals to several Manitoba representatives.
John Bockstael with Bockstael Construction, John Schubert of McCaine Electric and outgoing chair of the Canadian Construction Association, and Barry Brown with Maple Leaf Construction received their medals at the association’s annual general meeting.
“As members of the Winnipeg Construction Association, (these) honorees are building a lasting reminder every day of their dedication and diligence,” said the Honourable Philip S. Lee, Lieutenant Governor of Manitoba, during a presentation of the medals on behalf of Queen Elizabeth II, as part of the ongoing celebrations of the queen’s Diamond Jubilee in Canada.
