PCL employees get Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee medals

QUEEN ELIZABETH II DIAMOND JUBILEE MEDAL

The PCL family of companies recognized several employees with Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medals for their contributions both to the construction industry and their communities.

National Award winners included Paul Douglas, president and CEO, and Dwight Brown, vice president and district manager (retired).

Garth Tomlinson, manager of special projects and Alfred Schleier, operations manager, won the Saskatchewan/Manitoba award.

Vice president and district manager, Anibal Valente, won the British Columbia/Yukon award.

Vice president and district manager, John Volcko, won the Atlantic Canada award.

Brad Nelson, the president and COO of Canadian Buildings won the Ontario award.

Peter Stalenhoef, the president and COO of Heavy Industrial won the Alberta/Northwest Territories/Nunavut award, as did vice president and district manager (retired) Roger Dootson.

Doug Stollery, the general counsel located in Edmonton, was nominated by the Government of Alberta for community contributions.

Despite numerous local construction association affiliations, the company held its own medal presentation ceremony.
