Consultation resumes

Following a report issued on March 6 summarizing Phase 1 consultation by the B.C. government on the proposed Massey Tunnel project, Phase 2 of the consultation process is set to begin.

Out of more than 1,100 respondents, more than 80 per cent identified congestion reduction as the most important factor to consider in developing replacement options.

Consultation begins on March 11, 2013 and includes online engagement, stakeholder meetings and three open houses in Delta, Surrey and Richmond.

The Phase 1 consultation period was from Dec. 1 to December 19, 2012.

Information including descriptions of the potential replacement scenarios and an online feedback form, will be available on March 11 at www.masseytunnel.ca
