Wastewater treatment plant RFQ issued

A Request for Qualifications (RFQ) has been released for the McLoughlin Point Wastewater Treatment Plant in Victoria, B.C.

The Core Area Wastewater Treatment Program will consist of construction of the McLoughlin Point Wastewater Treatment Plant, a harbour crossing and marine outfall, a biosolids energy centre, and conveyance infrastructure including upgrades to existing facilities.

The project will be procured using a design/build/finance (DBF) model. The plant will be owned and operated by the Capital Regional District (CRD), which expects to select the three proponents by the end of June and to choose the preferred proponent by year end.

The RFQ is available on the CRD website and BC Bid.
