VIDEO: AWMAC BC's 23rd Annual Awards of Excellence
The Architectural Woodwork Manufacturer's Association of Canada - British Columbia recently held its 23rd annual Awards of Excellence at the Vancouver Convention Centre.
Award categories ranged from Large Commercial, Small Commercial, Residential and an Export category for projects outside of British Columbia but executed by BC companies.
AWMAC BC director Martin Berryman took time to speak with the Journal of Commerce about the diverse number of projects at the awards, singling out innovative design work and the scale of some of the projects.
Marta Heyde, the chief estimator for Fraser Valley Industries, was also able to speak to the Journal of Commerce about the Excellence in Service | Gold award the company received in the Large Commercial category.
The Independent Contractors and Businesses Association recently held its annual general meeting, and ICBA president Philip Hochstein was on hand to speak to the Journal of Commerce about the past year and his hopes for the industry in the year to come.
