B.C. firm achieves steel building certification

Kelowna-based modular workforce housing firm BigSteelBox Structures has achieved certification to Part 10 of the Alberta Building Code.

Structures said it is the first steel container manufacturer in B.C. to meet the Alberta Building Code requirement for relocatable industrial accommodations.

The company has added a manufacturing facility in the B.C. Interior to meet growing demand for workforce housing.
