VIDEO: Charles Kelly at Converge 2013
B.C. Ready-Mixed Concrete Association president Charles Kelly was one of the organizers of Converge 2013, a conference where various sectors of the construction industry met to discuss preferential policy in British Columbia and beyond.
Kelly discussed the Wood First Imitative, and stressed the necessity of a mix of products, including concrete, steel and wood, on any project.
He also discussed the reasons for creating Converge 2013, including creating an industry-wide response to preferential policy, and said it was important to orient the industry towards the future and that the conference was geared towards that goal.
The Association of Consulting Engineering Companies of British Columbia celebrated its best and brightest at its Awards of Excellence gala, held on April 12 at the Vancouver Convention Centre.
