VIDEO: Buildex Vancouver returns for 2014

Every year Buildex Vancouver brings together contractors, construction executives, real estate and interior design professionals at the Vancouver Convention Centre for two days of seminars, exhibits, keynotes and networking.

Buildex show director Paul Maryschak recently sat down with the Journal of Commerce to give a preview of the upcoming show on the eve of its 25th anniversary. Highlights include the Vancouver Regional Construction Association keynote, entitled “ The Young Guns: Gen Y and their role in the future of construction,” the annual Independent Contractors and Businesses Association CEO breakfast, and a focus on architecture in partnership with the Architecture Institute of British Columbia on the second day of the conference.

Maryschak also pointed to a series of seminars on changing building codes, as well as a focus on passive house building and wood construction as highlights of the show.

Reed Construction Data will be at Booth #631 on the exhibitor floor on both February 19 and 20.
