| Project: | development of a new copper & gold mine with a production capacity of 21.9 million tonnes of ore per year; utilizing a combined in-pit & out-pit gyratory primary crusher system; copper & gold to be recoverd in concentrate through a convetional flotation circuit; use of restored & expanded mine components from previous operations are expected to be utilized to the fullest extent possible. The mine components are: use of open-pit method, processing plant, thickening tailings plant, tailings storage facility, waste rock management facilities, water management facilities, road & bridge upgrades, new access & haul roads, borrow sources, transmission line & transformer upgrades, explosives storage facility, water supply including pumphouse upgrades, process & potable water system, concentrate storage & shipping area, & concentrate transport to Port of Vancouver. |
