| Project: | concrete slab on grade foundation, 02240; site preparation, 02315; excavation, 13120; industrial buildings, copper-gold-silver mine to yeild approx 3.63 billion lbs of copper, 372,000 ounces of gold & 14 million ounces of silver contained in concentrate; a mill throughput of 70,000 tonnes per day; the site to include an open pit, tailings storage facility, road & bridge upgrades, mine site facilities (offices, cafeteria, maintenace shop, 600 person staff camp, explosives storage areas etc), a new 138 kV power line/switchyard at the rail loadout facility that paralells the Yellowhead Hwy; concentrate will be loaded on B-Trains 40t capacity for hauling to the rail load-out facility in the town of Vavenby, for rail shipment to the Port of Vancouver. From there it will be shipped to smelters/refineries most likely in the Pacific Rim. |
