The final steel beam was put into place on the 51-storey Eighth Avenue Place in Calgary during a topping off ceremony recently. The tower includes one million square feet of space and is the first high-rise office building in Canada to be pre-certified LEED CS Gold.

Work is well underway on the new 10-lane Port Mann Bridge over the Fraser River in Metro Vancouver. Pre-cast deck segments have started to be installed using a large yellow and blue gantry that has been constructed specifically for that purpose.
